While browsing YouTube videos with my daughter, we stumbled upon a troll video based on the Nayakan movie. My child looked at me in my direction and said, “What would your answer be?” as soon as she saw it. The part where the child asks Kamal, “நீங்க நல்லவரா இல்ல கெஓ்டவரா”
After pausing, I began to think, “People are neither good nor bad.” Everything happens based on how they are treated, and they can do nothing to change that. As an example, if you pat the cat on the head, it will calm down. And yet, if you dare to touch its belly, it will unleash a fierce assault. In a similar vein, people’s performance improves or declines depending on whether they are praised or reprimanded.
There is a direct relationship between human actions and their natural surroundings. People will only show their best selves in a safe setting, just as a jeweler would only do with his diamond items. Even if it’s unfair to generalise, I’ll still stand firm and say that people hide their positive qualities for the good and flaunt their bad ones more.
In Mahabharata, when Arjuna went to heaven, he was greeted with dancing and music. One of the Gandharvas, Chitrasena, was approached by him, and he was well respected. He was overjoyed to have shown Arjuna the finer points of music and dance. As an act of reciprocation, Arjuna imparted some martial arts knowledge to Chitrasena. Both parties were amicable throughout the exchange.
Chitrasena and Duryodhana had a contrasting meeting a short time later. As usual, Duryodhana was very authoritative and showed little interest in compromising with him. Because of Duryodhana’s dismissive attitude, Chitrsena responded by challenging his authority. Then there was a small scuffle.
A modest act of encouragement can bring about a vast flood of goodness, as we have noticed. Imagine it as water that, once the dam is opened, may flow in whichever way it wants at its own pace. It is also true that the inverse of this image is correct.
These days’ youth view real life as a game (think: DOOM in the ’90s, PubG in the ’20s). Shooting is the plan, and the more you fire, the better. Yeah, it’s true that the player with the most kills wins the game. Instagram stories and video games are relationaly toxic while simultaneously boosting ego. The art of relationship management is getting eroded slowly.
Next, I will discuss the kingdom of animals. Additionally, its community behaviour is diverse. The murder (a collective name for crows) will rush to the aid of a dying crow and peck at it joyfully, hastening its demise. Now I’m transported to the underwater realm, where a pod of dolphins responds differently to identical stimuli. As a pod, the dolphins rally around the injured animal, pushing it to the surface so it may get air. The animal’s lifespan is increased a bit as a result.
The Sukra neeti is being followed by the majority of us, whether knowingly or unknowingly. What is Sukra neeti? It is Sukracharya’s moral code of conduct for governance.
Krishna merely wanted Yudishtra to be a reasonable person, therefore he exposed him to this idea. Yudishtra had been following the Brihaspathi neeti up until this moment, which promised to act appropriately regardless of the other person’s actions. According to Krishna, it is best to walk the road of dharma if one’s opponents do the same. When people stray from this idea, it’s time to embrace Adharma and stand up to them.
Similarly, to you the readers, my daughter was confused. She pressed me for an answer once again. My response was identical to Kamal’s – “என்னக்கு தெரியலையே பா.” Finding the good in every situation is an important part of being a decent person. Ignoring the holes and seeing the object as a whole is a quality of a good golfer, so let’s hear your description of the golf ball.
A leader’s role therefore becomes unclear.
Instead of being a self-appointed quack who constantly looks for flaws, a leader should inoculate himself with the desire to be encouraging and positive.
Everything will appear good if you are good at dealing with nature, since it operates similarly to an ecosystem. If you let yourself be pessimistic, that’s how the world will seem. Master the skill of seeing past a person’s flaws and bringing out their greatest qualities. No matter what, it’s guaranteed to function.
The good, the bad, the ugly – whatever be the person. Strive to bring the BEST out of them. That’s enough to be perceived as good
